Timothy Sadowski, the man who keeps Ecorse’s books balanced, is now facing some serious legal math of his own. The city controller was arrested in Columbia County, Wisconsin, and is staring down charges that include attempted burglary, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. Ecorse officials have pulled him off the job and placed him on unpaid administrative leave while investigators in Wisconsin and back home sift through what happened.
