The organization has been without an executive director since January 1, 2025. Bob Walters is the interim President/CEO of Downtown Fort Wayne and has taken on some roles during this time without an executive director.
“With him being an active board member and being a property owner, he was willing to step up to the plate,” said director of marketing, Preston Wallace. “Now I don’t think he was expecting it to be this long of an interim, so he’s been ready to pass the reins on to the next candidate.”
