14-year-old girl drowns in Myrtle Beach hotel pool, coroner says

CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 14-year-girl drowned Thursday after being pulled from a hotel pool in Myrtle Beach, the Horry County Coroner’s Office said.

Neveah Neely of Salisbury, N.C. died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center after being taken out of a pool at the Sandbar Hotel. Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said Neely couldn’t swim.
