SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A woman was arrested early Friday morning after she allegedly stole a security vehicle in Spring Valley and led police on a pursuit through Otay Mesa, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office (SDSO).
Just after midnight on Friday, April 3, SDSO received a report of a stolen security vehicle out of Spring Valley.
At around 1 a.m., a deputy at the George Bailey Detention Facility in Otay Mesa reportedly located the suspected stolen vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. The driver allegedly fled, and a pursuit ensued through Otay Mesa at a reportedly moderate speed with no traffic present.
