NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers men’s and women’s tennis teams will head to South Texas to take on UTRGV and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Privateers will visit UTRGV on Saturday at 2 p.m. followed by a trip to Corpus Christi on Monday also at 2 p.m.
The Privateers are looking to snap a six-match losing streak since their last victory against Southern on Mar. 10. New Orleans was dealt a pair of 5-2 losses against Lamar and UIW to open conference play.
Carlos Melgosa continues to pace the team in wins after he picked up his 11th against UIW. Melgosa has won five of his last seven matches entering the weekend. Melgosa also has eight wins in doubles this season…
