An El Paso grand jury declined to indict a woman who was accused of being drunk when she fatally ran over an El Paso educator who was trying to help her, court records show.
The grand jury declined to indict Aurora Morales, 62, on one count of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle in connection with the Feb. 7 death of 57-year-old Ana Maria Paniagua, El Paso court records show. The case was dismissed on Feb. 25, with Morales being released from jail the same day.
