SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The City of Sioux Falls announced several road construction projects that will begin the week of April 6, which will impact travel within parts of the city.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
26th Street and Veterans Parkway intersection lane closures
Beginning on Monday, April 6, 2026, the outside lanes at the intersections of 26th Street and 41st Street with Veterans Parkway will be closed to allow crews to complete concrete pavement and curb and gutter repairs.
At a minimum, one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction. In the upcoming weeks, the location of the lane closures at these intersections will vary. Access to businesses, homes and side streets will be maintained…
