Lane County asks residents to weigh in on essential community services

LANE COUNTY, Ore. – Lane County is asking residents to weigh in on essential services like housing, shelter, basic needs and transportation through a community survey.

The county’s Housing and Community Action programs must conduct this assessment every three years to find gaps in services and improve programs for people they serve. Lane County officials say they especially want to hear from low-income residents who have used these services.

The survey takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete. It asks people to identify which service areas matter most to them and share their experiences with programs covering housing, education, employment, transportation and health…
