University of Michigan to host free personal AI festival in Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR, MI — A free public gathering focused on personal artificial intelligence (AI) will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at the University of Michigan’s Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, according to an April 2 email.

ClawCon Michigan, presented by ClawCon and the OpenClaw community, is described by organizers as a “festival of personal AI” rather than a gated developer event or corporate trade show. More than 1,300 people have indicated they plan to attend as of the current registration period.

The event is intentionally inclusive, according to organizers, with no paywall for attendees. Organizers stated there is no “LinkedIn or GitHub screening” for participants…
