A local family said they have lost nearly $100,000 on an Orange County Vietnam War memorial that was mired in a fraud case. The wall was torn down after money used to make it was linked to disgraced former Supervisor Andrew Do.
One of the reasons the mother and son from a family-run business said they decided to take this job was because they learned it was a government-funded project, and they wouldn’t have to worry about getting paid.
