Man injured while attempting to rescue teen from burning car in Decatur sues suspect, restaurants

DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) – A man who was injured while trying to rescue a teen trapped in a burning car is suing the people he believes are responsible for his injuries.

The lawsuit includes the man who was arrested in connection with the crash, and the owners of several Decatur restaurants who served that man alcohol.
