Warrant Arrest Leads to Discovery of a Pound of Methamphetamine

April 3, 2026 – Merced County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on the evening of March 28, 2026, Deputies

Sarginson and Granado were patrolling Joseph Gallo Drive near the Sure Stay Best Western in Livingston. They recognized a subject sitting in a vehicle, who had an active felony warrant from the Merced Police Department. With the assistance of the Merced County Sheriff’s Office helicopter, Deputies conducted a vehicle stop and took 72-year-old Ronald Killman into custody.

While doing a search of Killman’s vehicle, a pound of crystal methamphetamine and items indicative of selling the narcotics were located. Killman was arrested and booked into the Merced County Jail for felony possession of narcotics with the intent to sell and illegal transport/sale of a controlled substance, along with his warrants…
