The Compost Company, a locally founded leader in sustainable waste diversion and soil health solutions, celebrated the grand opening of its new The Compost Co. Supply retail location in Antioch on Saturday, March 28. Founded in 2012 by COO Edward Wansing, The Compost Company has played a pioneering role in advancing composting and sustainable waste management across Middle Tennessee. The company operates a compost processing and drop-off facility in Ashland City, where residential and commercial food scraps are transformed into nutrient-rich compost that supports local agriculture, landscaping, and gardening.
