Park Service to clean illegal dump site on Staten Island after Advance/SILive.com report

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Relief is on the way for New Dorp residents dealing with a buildup of garbage and debris near their homes.

Just one day after the Advance/SILive.com reported on illegal dumping at the wooded end of Elmtree Avenue, the National Park Service announced that the area, which is under its jurisdiction, will be cleaned up.
