All about jai alai and its long history in West Palm Beach and Florida

The Palm Beach Jai Alai Fronton in Mangonia Park soon could disappear from the Palm Beach County landscape if the property is redeveloped into a mixed-use center featuring thousands of new homes.

But nothing can be built on the 53-acre site at 1415 45th St. until the town gets a new, larger water storage tank for clean drinking water, Town Manager Ken Metcalf said in a March 31 interview with The Palm Beach Post.
