Thompson, CT — A 56-year-old Thompson man was seriously injured after becoming entrapped in his vehicle following a rollover crash on Sand Dam Road on Thursday afternoon. He was later transported to a Level 1 trauma center by LifeFlight ground ambulance.
According to the East Thompson Volunteer Fire Department, at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2026, the East Thompson Volunteer Fire Department, Thompson Fire Engine Company, Putnam EMS, and the Connecticut State Police were dispatched to the area of 230 Sand Dam Road for a motor vehicle accident.
