MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – Iowa’s Taekwondo community held its first state championship in six years Saturday, marking the return of a competition that paused during the COVID-19 pandemic and had not resumed until now.
The championship kicked off in Marion early Saturday morning with 77 athletes from nine states competing for a chance to qualify for nationals.
