ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The United States Forest Service is closing most regional offices as it restructures, but Albuquerque’s office is one of the few that will remain open. The Forest Service office will move its headquarters from Washington to Salt Lake City. Over the next two years, the agency will consolidate and close offices, but Albuquerque’s office will stay open and serve as a business support center.
