Police arrested an armed married couple after a man was shot while leaning out of his apartment window in North Portland on Sunday, the Police Bureau said.
Tony Rafael McDonald, 35, of Portland, was booked on charges of second-degree attempted murder, first- and second-degree attempted assault, unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a weapon, police said. His wife, Lavon D. McDonald, 45, faces a charge of felon in possession of a firearm.
The victim, whose name the police haven’t publicly released, said he was shot in the arm while he was leaning out an open window and throwing a key down to a friend on the sidewalk at about 4 a.m., according to the Police Bureau. His injuries are not considered life-threatening…
