Residents evacuated, displaced after Honolulu high-rise fire

HONOLULU (KHON2) — A fire in a high-rise building on Saturday morning prompted the evacuation of a kupuna and left one resident displaced.

On April 4, at 7:04 a.m. HFD got a 911 call about a building fire inside a condominium on Kalakaua Avenue.

At 7:12 a.m., HFD responded with 24 personnel to the scene, who observed no smoke or flames from outside the building…
