Authorized changes on JBER could mean more than double the artillery rounds fired

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – One area of JBER could see more than double the number of rounds fired than what has been fired annually, as a decision about the Proposed Mortar and Artillery Training area’s final Environmental Impact Statement has been made.

JBER said the announcement came from the departments of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army.
