ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — Albany County Sheriff Craig D. Apple, Sr., reports the arrest of two Albany men on felony drug possession charges.
On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at approximately 8:22 p.m., Albany County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Henry Johnson Boulevard and Central Avenue for a traffic violation.
An investigation revealed that the operator, Robert D Barton, 61, and the passenger, 57-year-old Matthew J Bell, 57, were found to be in possession of approximately 12.1 grams of cocaine, 10.8 grams of fentanyl, and 26.5 grams of methamphetamine.
