Thanks so much for starting up the passenger rail discussion again. As an Asheville resident, I fully support the project. I understand the logistics and cost are complicated, but train travel needs more support in the U.S. in general. I think supporting it at the state level is a great start.
I grew up hearing my grandmother share stories about using the rail system to get to the mountains. It could be a wonderful, sustainable and accessible way for more people to enjoy our state…
