Business as usual for Central Alabama Water after judge denies request to freeze changes by new board

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Central Alabama Water can carry on with business as usual after a federal judge denied a request to freeze the changes the board have made at the utility during the last 11 months.

The lawsuit was brought by former Birmingham Water Works Board employees William Muhammad and Brenda Lewis. It was similar to one brought by the City of Birmingham.
