Non-custodial father charged with kidnapping his 6-year-old child after Elyria search

ELYRIA, Ohio (WJW) — A father allegedly kidnapped his 6-year-old child in a vehicle, prompting the mother to jump on the vehicle’s hood and leading to an hours-long search by local police.

Elyria police responded just after 11 a.m. to the reported abduction at FriendShip Gas Station along Beachwood Drive in Elyria.
