Trio Nabbed In Deadly West Detroit Dispensary Ambush

Three men are now behind bars after prosecutors say a botched robbery inside an illegal dispensary on Detroit’s west side turned into a fatal double shooting. The gunfire broke out on Nov. 10, 2025, in the 2900 block of Puritan Avenue, near the Livernois and Linwood corridors. Both people hit in the barrage later died at the hospital, and investigators say the suspects bolted from Michigan almost immediately after the attack before being tracked down out of state and extradited this week.

Investigators say the three walked into the unlicensed storefront, opened fire and then took items from the business before leaving. After an extended investigation, police and prosecutors announced the men were picked up in different states and returned to Wayne County. As of yesterday, each man faces two counts of felony murder, two counts of first-degree murder and four counts of felony firearm, according to ClickOnDetroit.

The court’s criminal schedule is posted online for anyone to review through the 36th District Court docket.

Police: Suspects extradited

According to Detroit police, all three men were arrested in separate states and then transported back to Michigan to face the charges, part of what officials describe as a multi-jurisdictional push to close the case. Investigators have not yet laid out detailed timelines for where or how each suspect was picked up, and they say the broader investigation is still active.
