KENT COUNTY, MI – Kent County is looking to develop a new trailhead on undeveloped greenspace near the White Pine State Trail that will include a new kayak launch and direct access to the Rogue River.
The new river access point will create a 2.5-mile water trail where residents will be able to kayak, canoe and tube from the greenspace site to downtown Rockford, said Kent County Parks and Recreation Director Ben Swayze.
