STOCKTON, Calif — A 98-year-old business owner in Stockton is recovering after a break-in at his longtime comic shop left thousands of dollars in losses earlier this week.
Inside his Miracle Mile comic shop, Al Greco has spent decades surrounded by stories of heroes, villains and adventure. This week, one of those stories hit close to home.
“My son got here and found the door — plywood on the door Tuesday morning,” Greco said. “They took boxes and boxes that had good comics in them. And they took two counters, they cleaned out. And they went around the back and broke another door.”…
