ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) —The Rochester Fire Department responded to a vacant building fire on Portland Avenue on Saturday night.
According to fire officials at the scene, a rubbish fire spread to part of the building’s roof. During the fire, crews found multiple 55-gallon drums of used motor oil. A Level 0 Hazmat was declared, as two drums were found to have melted and leaked oil.
