Ten Bears Place First in Eleven Events, Track and Field Teams Place Second at Ocean State Cup

Brown University’s track and field teams delivered a strong performance at the Ocean State Cup, finishing second overall. Hosted by Bryant, the meet saw competition from several local colleges, with URI capturing the top spot in both men’s and women’s events. Highlights include junior Alyssa Jackson setting the third fastest 200m time in school history, and senior Solomon Miller tying for the 10th fastest 100m time. In total, the Bears achieved first-place finishes in eleven events across both teams.
