AUSTIN, Texas — A rare patient is now in the care of Austin Wildlife Rescue after a baby beaver was found alone on a sidewalk in the city.
According to Austin Wildlife Rescue, the young beaver kit was discovered wandering by itself before Austin Animal Services officers searched the area for its family. When no other beavers were found, the animal was brought in for care.
