SHREVEPORT, La. – An elderly woman and a young child were hospitalized Sunday morning after a fire in the 2100 block of Corbitt Street.
The Shreveport Fire Department dispatched at 4:54 a.m. after a neighbor reported the blaze. When the first crews arrived five minutes later, they found the structure “fully involved” with heavy smoke and flames.
