Protect Your Plants: Frost Advisory issued for the Ozarks tonight

Keep your plants protected tonight as a Frost Advisory has been issued for much of the Ozarks.

After drying out from last night’s round of storms, temperatures are expected to fall to near freezing across the region by early Sunday morning.

As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory in effect from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday. Low-lying areas and rural valleys will be most at risk for patchy frost development.

The good news is temperatures should remain just above the freezing mark. While frost could still damage tender plants and early blooms, this is not expected to be a hard, killing freeze…
