BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A popular Easter location is looking to the future, with construction set to start later this year on renovations at the historic Broadway Market.
Designs include a new layout for the center of the building, new vendor spaces, and turning the parking ramp into a place that can host events. In October, the city signed a three-year lease with Broadway Market Management Incorporated, a nonprofit that is now managing the market.
Leaders are hoping to put shovels in the ground in September. Construction is expected to last about two years, and the market will remain open during that time…
