Man arrested after fight between 2 drivers led to Myrtle Beach Publix parking lot shooting

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – More information has been released about what caused a grocery store parking lot shooting.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department said that 34-year-old Kevin Lamar McCoy, 34, of Autryville, has been charged with aggravated assault and battery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The shooting took place on Friday at the Publix at 7925 North Kings Highway at around 5:38 p.m.
