Another challenge to Southgate pipeline extension

Federal regulators are being asked to withdraw a permit for an extension of the Mountain Valley Pipeline.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved the Southgate extension late last year. The project, proposed by MVP’s owners, would run from the pipeline’s current endpoint in Pittsylvania County south into Rockingham County.
