JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. (WATE) — A missing man was found on Sunday after the Jefferson City Police Department asked for the public’s help finding him.
Gary Joe Shelton had last been seen on North Highway 92 in Jefferson City, police said. He was traveling in a white Chevrolet Equinox.

JCPD posted about Shelton at 6:19 p.m., and asked people to call if they found him. At 7:22 p.m., police updated the post to say he had been found.
