Man charged with second-degree murder in Dyer County death

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Dyer County man has been charged with second-degree murder months after a woman was found unresponsive at a home in January.

According to the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a home on Peach Road on January 30, 2026, after receiving a call about an unresponsive woman.

The woman, identified as 44-year-old Katrina Olds, was taken to an emergency room in Dyersburg, where she was pronounced dead.
