ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Virginia State Police will escort oversize load trucks along U.S. Highway 220 starting Monday, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
A VDOT statement on Thursday stated that oversize trucks up to 245 feet long and 14.5 feet wide will drive from I-81 and I-64 to Eagle Rock along U.S. Highway 220. The escorts will run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. until the end of May.
