Hammer-Wielding Crew Rips 11-Year-Old’s Bike On Quiet Staten Island Corner

On what should have been an ordinary Saturday ride, an 11-year-old boy was surrounded by five people near Ramona Avenue and Lenevar Avenue on Staten Island and had his bicycle taken after one of the suspects pulled out a hammer and issued verbal threats, according to police. The group then took off southbound on Lenevar, and officers later released photos asking neighbors to help track them down.
