A woman in Worcester, Massachusetts, was bitten multiple times on her hands and ankle by a fox in a brazen daylight attack captured on home surveillance video Friday morning.
The incident occurred around 7 a.m. on Esther Street when the medium-sized fox suddenly charged at the woman as she approached her home. She attempted to fight it off by swinging her pocketbook and running up the stairs, but the animal repeatedly lunged, pinned her against the house, and eventually dragged her to the ground.
A neighbor across the street, Dahnyel Swenson, who had previously warned the victim about a recent fox sighting in the area, rushed over with her daughter to help. They managed to subdue the aggressive fox by pinning it down and trapping it under a green recycling bucket, using a rake to prevent it from escaping through a hole until police and first responders arrived…
