AUSTIN (KXAN) — Showers and thunderstorms are winding down this evening in Central Texas.
4:14 p.m. | National Weather Service issued a Flood Advisory for parts of Hays and Caldwell County until 7:15 p.m. Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Between 1-2″ of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2″ are expected.

12:15 p.m. | National Weather Service: The front extends from Tanglewood to east of the city of Austin to New Braunfels to the north of the San Antonio Int. Airport. Northerly winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph have been observed and pockets of heavy rain.
