LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Joyo Theatre has been near North 61 Street and Havelock Avenue for decades. For the current owner, Dwight Carter, the theatre has always been a familiar spot.
“I grew up coming here, so it was a, something we did until we were teenagers and grandma lived down the street, so this is where we came,” Carter said. “And just a Déjà vu thing.”
