The Will County Coroner’s Office on Sunday released the name of a woman who was killed in a collision on Interstate 55.
According to a Facebook post from the coroner’s office, Melissa Prosser, 26, died following a crash at around 4:14 a.m. along the southbound lanes of the interstate at mile marker 246. Illinois State Police were conducting an investigation as of Sunday evening.
