SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A public hearing on a controversial proposed Battery Energy Storage in Greene County will be held tomorrow morning.
The developer, Sofos Power, is requesting to rezone approximately 40 acres at 4873 N. Rocky Lane from Agricultural to Plot Assignment District to develop a lithium-ion battery energy storage facility. The facility would include 242 battery containers, covering over 16 acres.
