SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — This morning, kids woke up to baskets and eggs from the Easter bunny. But for families who may need some extra help this time of year, the St. Francis House stepped in.
Excited kids and their families were lined up outside the St. Francis House, anxiously awaiting the arrival of their Easter baskets. But weeks before this, over 350 baskets were assembled by volunteers.
“Just prepping for it, we had stuff coming in, so we just tried to fill the baskets up and get as many as we could,” said Trevor Buckholtz, a guest at the St. Francis House who helped assemble the baskets…
