HOOSICK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Multiple people were sent to the hospital on Friday following two crashes on the same stretch of State Route 7 in Hoosick, according to New York State Police. The incidents reportedly occurred in the area of Tibbitts State Forest.
State Police were dispatched to the scene just after 4:15 p.m. Authorities said the first crash involved a car, a pickup truck and a commercial tractor-trailer.
According to an investigation, the car was traveling eastbound when it failed to maintain its lane and hit the westbound tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer then reportedly lost control and hit the eastbound pickup truck…
