BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A Center Point man who was struck and killed in a hit-and-run was identified Monday morning.
20-year-old Kevin A. Arita-Alvarado was walking in the roadway on Green Springs Highway at Red Mountain Terrace when he was hit by a vehicle that left the scene, according to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. The crash happened around 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
