Battle Creek nonprofits and leaders to connect at advocacy breakfast

The Battle Creek Coalition for Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation will host an advocacy event from 7:30 to 10 a.m. May 8 at Washington Heights United Methodist Church, 153 N. Wood St., Battle Creek.

Organizers are inviting community members to participate in the free Nonprofit Advocacy Breakfast. The event aims to bring together nonprofit leaders, board members, funders, corporate partners and elected officials, according to a community announcement. A breakfast buffet will be served, and space is limited.

The gathering is designed to highlight nonprofit voices and increase understanding of the challenges facing the sector.
