‘Redemption’ Knox County man hoping to improve time in Boston Marathon

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Every morning, Will Jeter hits the ground running, but to hear him tell it, he wasn’t always that way.

“I was a decent runner. I wouldn’t say I was the best. You know, I was on our varsity team. We went to state and finished pretty well there my four years. I wasn’t considered one of the best,” said Jeter.

6 News first spoke to Jeter at the Strawberry Plains Half-Marathon. He ran like he was shot out of a cannon, finishing in first place, but that’s not what this story is about…
